[Bolzano/Berlin, May 20, 2025] - The international logistics company FERCAM and the German software provider cargomotion are launching a strategic collaboration that will see the new version of the proven transport management software (TMS) based on InstaFreight's platform technology - now known as cargomotion - being used by FERCAM from now on.
The innovative, digital platform cargomotion, originally known under the brand name InstaFreight and founded by Philipp Ortwein, Maximilian Schäfer and Markus Doetsch, has been continuously developed over the past eight years, successfully used in more than 1,000,000 transport operations and used by over 2,000 customers for customized transport solutions. cargomotion thus builds on sound technology that is one of the most advanced digital solutions in the European transport market.
A collaboration with added value
FERCAM is one of the first customers of the former InstaFreight and now newly licensed cargomotion platform. The integration into the South Tyrolean logistics company's existing systems was seamless. The collaboration between FERCAM and cargomotion combines the logistics company's many years of practical experience with the technological expertise of the established software provider.
The platform enables intelligent networking of all parties involved - from shippers to dispatchers and carriers - and supports digital spot offers, automated load matching, an effective carrier search and centralized management of documents, prices and invoices in real time.
